Abstract
BACKGROUND: Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is a vital therapy for various hip joint diseases. However, patients have lower hemoglobin level post-operatively, remarkably inconsistent with the measured blood loss. The inconsistence is majorly attributed to hidden blood loss (HBL).
