Jane Hyatt Thorpe and Elizabeth Gray are funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for work to develop and maintain an online resource of federal and state laws related to health information, including analyses, decision-support tools, and comparative maps ( www.healthinfolaw.org ). In addition, Thorpe is funded under a subcontract with ResDAC to provide guidance related to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' data-release policies. Thorpe also serves as a senior advisor in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC).
