a)Patients who are on current hormone therapy; b)Respiratory disease: pulmonary tuberculosis, emphysema, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pleural effusion; c)Cardiac disease: arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, coronary heart disease, old myocardial infarct, pericardial effusion; d)Liver disease: liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, abnormal liver function test; e)Neurologic disease: cerebral infarct history, neurosurgery history.
Perioperative and postoperative complications

a)Febrile morbidity: two oral temperatures greater than 38℃, taken at least 6h apart, starting 24hrs following surgery; b)Cardiovascular complication: thromboembolic disease, coronary heart disease, pericardial effusion; c)Pulmonary complication: pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary edema; d)Gastrointestinal complication: ileus, microperforation of bowel, incisional hernia; e)Neurologic complication: muscle weakness, extremity pain, back pain (beyond 4 weeks).
