Abstract
BACKGROUND: Although the use of removable dentures can improve oral function and esthetics for elderly people, compared to those who do not wear removable dentures, those wearing removable dentures could have worse oral health related-quality of life (OHRQoL). Additional information is required to assess which factors related to denture wearing influence the OHRQoL of elderly individuals. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association between denture wearing and OHRQoL in a sample of elderly individuals in Taiwan.Entities:

The answers of questions were scored by 5=always(總是), 4=usually(經常), 3=occasionally(偶爾), 2=seldom(很少), and 1=never(從不). The scores were reversed in the 3rd, 7th and 12th questions.
