All models were after adjusting for age, male gender, BMI, hypertension, alcohol drinking and current smoker, in addition to glycemic indices and LDL-C (or sdLDL-C).
Levels of LDL-C (130 mg/dL) and sdLDL-C (37 mg/dL) were set at cut point of ≥ upper tertile (2/3) (66.7th percentile) in the models.
