Abstract
Atraumatic bilateral hip fractures in the relatively young are exceedingly rare. In this case report, we present one such patient diagnosed by MRI and treated with bilateral hip screws. Subsequent investigations revealed severe osteoporosis and primary 25-hyroxyvitamin D (25OHD) deficiency at a level suggestive of concurrent osteomalacia. 2014 BMJ Publishing Group Ltd.Entities:
