Abstract
Magnetic resonance cholangiography used before laparoscopic cholecystectomy may reduce the incidence of post-operative complications related to the high anatomic variability of the biliary system. A number of anatomic variants of the biliary tree have been reported. We present a rare case in which magnetic resonance cholangiography demonstrated a new variant of the cholecystohepatic bile duct acting as a communication between the gallbladder fundus and an intrahepatic biliary duct.Entities:
