An IEP is a plan or program in which a child who has a disability identified under the law and is attending an elementary or secondary educational institution receives specialized instruction and related services. A 504 plan ensures that such a child receives appropriate accommodations. We collected data on IEP and 504 plans only from participants who had not yet graduated from high school (n = 40).
