Abstract
BACKGROUND: Multimorbidity occurs at a younger age in individuals in areas of high socioeconomic deprivation but little is known about the 'typology' of multimorbidity in different age groups and its association with socioeconomic status. IPA = Inflammatory poly-arthropathy and includes rheumatoid arthritis and related conditions, systemic connective tissue disorders, and gout. Drug misuse includes prescription drug misuse of varying degrees.
