Automation and robotics in ADME screening.

The use of automated sample processing, analytics and screening technology for profiling absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME) and physicochemical properties, early in the drug discovery process, is becoming more widespread. The use and application of these technologies is both diverse and innovative. High-throughput screening (HTS) technologies have been utilised enabling the profiling of an increased number of compounds emerging from the drug discovery process.
