Abstract
Recombinant human tumor necrosis factor alpha (rHuTNF-alpha) administered intravenously to mice resulted in enhanced resistance to a lethal challenge infection of Listeria monocytogenes given 24 h later. The observed protection was lost following treatment of the rHuTNF-alpha preparations with rabbit polyclonal antibody rHuTNF-alpha but not with normal rabbit immunoglobulin G.Entities:
