Tough times for medicinal chemists: are we to blame?

Takashi Tsukamoto1.

Abstract

In the United States, medicinal chemists continue to face job insecurity and high rates of unemployment. The situation is unlikely to improve in the near future. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Is there anything we can do to revitalize our community? The answer may be right in front of us.
