Abstract
Choroid plexus tumors are most common in the first year of life and are quite large at presentation. Total resection is the treatment of choice, and many children require diversion of the cerebrospinal fluid despite removal of the tumor. Tumor size and associated hydrocephalus present formidable challenges to the pediatric neurosurgeon. The operative approaches as well as other treatment options are discussed.Entities:
