Abstract
BACKGROUND: G-protein-coupled bile acid receptor Gpbar1 (TGR5) is a newly identified liver tumor suppressor in carcinogenesis. The area under the ROC curves (AUC) of TGR5 methylation was 0.672 (standard error [SE] 0.027, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.610-0.730). The AUC of AFP was 0.633 (SE 0.035, CI 0.569-0.693).
