Organometallic aspects of transition-metal catalysed regioselective C-H bond functionalisation of arenes and heteroarenes.

Anant R Kapdi1.

Abstract

Transition-metal catalysed C-H bond functionalisation of arenes and heteroarenes has undergone a tremendous amount of development in the last decade with several reported protocols exhibiting excellent regioselectivity. In this review we intend to emphasise the organometallic aspect of C-H bond functionalisation involving the formation of a metal-carbon bond.
