Abstract
Patient-Adaptive Reconstruction and Acquisition Dynamic Imaging with Sensitivity Encoding (PARADISE) is a dynamic MR imaging scheme that optimally combines parallel imaging and model-based adaptive acquisition. In this work, we propose the application of PARADISE to real-time cardiac MRI. We introduce a physiologically improved version of a realistic four-dimensional cardiac-torso (NCAT) phantom, which incorporates natural beat-to-beat heart rate and motion variations. Cardiac cine imaging using PARADISE is simulated and its performance is analyzed by virtue of the improved phantom. Results verify the effectiveness of PARADISE for high resolution un-gated real-time cardiac MRI and its superiority over conventional acquisition methods.Entities:
