Abstract
Testicular torsion is an emergent condition requiring prompt surgical intervention to avoid permanent testicular compromise and death. As its symptoms overlap with other disease processes, diagnosis is sometimes difficult. When considering the presenting symptoms, one must be careful not to ignore unusual causes of torsion and misdiagnose the patient. In this case report we describe an unusual etiology of testicular torsion (traumatic) with an atypical patient presentation (mildly painful) which presented many obstacles before proper diagnosis and treatment.Entities:
