Demographic data collected at baseline when participants were initially enrolled in parent study.
Heart disease includes self-reported myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass graft, bypass, angioplasty, stent, or evidence of myocardial infarct via electrocardiogram; 4 participants with missing data.
Hypertension includes systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg, diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg, or self-reported current medication use to control blood pressure.
2 participants with missing data.
Diabetes includes fasting glucose ≥126 mg/dl, non-fasting glucose ≥200 mg/dl, or self-reported pills or insulin.
Buckle: coastal plain region of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
Belt: remainder of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia plus Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
Non-belt: other 40 contiguous states.

Compliant day is defined as the participant wearing the accelerometer for ≥10 hours/day.
