Abstract
Inflammation is increasingly recognized as an essential component of tumor development, but the origin of tumor-associated inflammation remains largely unknown. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Pribluda and colleagues find that chronic stress initiates senescence-inflammatory response, which can promote tumorigenesis in the absence of exogenous inflammatory triggers.Entities:
