Abstract

We describe the case of a wounded soldier with a gluteus infection from which Leclercia adecarboxylata was cultured. To our knowledge, this is only the second report of this unusual pathogen being isolated from an abscess and the first report of L. adecarboxylata as the etiology of a war wound infection. Reprint &
