Figure 1Automated perimetry (upper image) in patient #1 shows a clover-leaf pattern with diffuse constriction superiorly and inferiorly in both eyes. Kinetic perimetry in the same patient (lower image): the III4e isopter (red) and then the V4e isopter (blue) were plotted in the usual manner. The III4e isopter was then repeated (green), beginning at the threshold previously plotted for the original III4e isopter and was moved slowly toward fixation. Final results showed overlapping isopters, with the second III4e isopter (green) being markedly more constricted (about 10 degrees) than the first one (about 30 degrees, red).
Figure 2Automated perimetry (upper image) in patient #2 demonstrated a clover-leaf pattern with diffuse constriction superiorly and inferiorly in both eyes, with marked tunneling on the left side. Kinetic perimetry in the same subject: the III4e (red) and V4e isopters (blue) were plotted in the usual manner (lower image). The III4e isopter was then repeated (green), beginning at the threshold previously plotted for the original III4e isopter and moved slowly toward fixation. Final results showed overlapping isopters, with the second III4e (green) isopter being markedly more constricted (under 20 degrees) than the first one (about 30 degrees, red).
