Abstract
An efficient, high-yielding, and transition-metal-free synthesis of diaryl sulfones from arylsulfinic acid salts and diaryliodonium salts has been developed. The mild reaction conditions tolerate a range of functional groups, and unsymmetrical diaryliodonium salts show high chemoselectivity.Entities:
