Abstract
In this prospective cohort study, the presence of parasite-specific immunoglobulin A in breast milk was associated with protection of Bangladeshi infants from cryptosporidiosis and amebiasis. Our findings suggest that passive immunity could be harnessed for the prevention of Entamoeba histolytica and Cryptosporidium species infection in children living in endemic regions.Entities:
