Abstract
A clinical classification of peripheral corneal destructive disease is presented. These syndromes all start within 2 mm of the limbus and are accompanied by varying degrees of vaso-occlusion of the adjacent limbal vascular networks. Close observation of the configuration, integrity and pattern of the limbal vessels can indicate whether the disease is active, quiescent or brought under control with treatment.Entities:
