Complete genome sequence of Alcanivorax dieselolei type strain B5.

Abstract

Alcanivorax dieselolei B5(T) was isolated from oil-contaminated surface water of the Bohai Sea of China and characterized by the efficient degradation of alkane (C(5)-C(36)). Here we report the complete genome of B5(T) and genes associated with alkane degradation.
