Abstract
BACKGROUND: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a commonly diagnosed neuropsychiatric disorder in childhood, but the frequency of the condition is not well established in many countries. The aim of the present study was to quantify the overall prevalence of ADHD among children and adolescents in Spain by means of a systematic review and meta-analysis.Entities:

Figure 4Relationship between year of publication and the prevalences of ADHD among children and adolescents in Spain. Meta-regression analysis. Note: The size of the bubble is inversely related to the variance of the study. The solid line represents the linear regression (year of publication as the meta-independent variable). The shaded area corresponds to the confidence intervals of the prediction.
