Abstract
This review examines the clinical efficacy and safety of the use of hepatic arterial chemoembolization, bland embolization and radioembolization in the treatment of unresectable neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases (NETLM). Response to treatment, survival outcome and toxicity were examined in this review of 37 studies comprising 1575 patients. These therapies are safe and effective in the treatment of NETLM. Prospective clinical trials to compare the relative efficacy and toxicity are warranted.Entities:
