Abstract
BACKGROUND: The stability of the accuracy of a diagnostic test is critical to whether clinicians can rely on its result. We aimed to assess whether the performance of a rapid antigen detection test (RADT) for group A streptococcus (GAS) is affected by the clinical spectrum and/or bacterial inoculum size.Entities:

| McIsaacscore | Total | RADT-positive | GAS-positive | Heavy inoculum |
| 1 | 12 (1) | 2/12 (17) | 3/12 (25) | 2/3 (67) |
| 2 | 103 (13) | 21/103 (20) | 25/103 (24) | 20/25 (80) |
