Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) causes increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, including systemic arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart rhythm and conduction disorders, heart failure and stroke.
