Abstract
INTRODUCTION: An adenine insertion polymorphism in the 5' untranslated region of the endothelin-1 gene is functional and increases the expression of endothelin mRNA and protein in the insertion homozygote. In the present study we hypothesized that this functional polymorphism might be associated with hypertension and/or orthostatic hypotension.Entities:
