Abstract
Interactive effects in carcinogenesis have been described for a certain number of combinations of agents. They are described in terms of inhibition or enhancement of carcinogenesis, and the latter can involve either synergistic, cocarcinogenic or promotional action. Such effects constitute an important consideration to be borne in mind in assessment of the risks due to complex exposures.Mesh:
