Abstract
Vascular pathologies of brain comprise a heterogeneous group of abnormalities such as vasculitis, dural arteriovenous malformations, carotid-cavernous fistulas, cerebral venous thrombosis, and intracerebral hemorrhage. Modern imaging techniques are increasingly unraveling these vascular lesions of the brain at a stage when many of them are still asymptomatic. This article focuses on acquired vascular pathologies of brain prevalent in tropical countries that are encountered in clinical practice.Entities:
