Abstract
We assessed the experience of 10-25-year old women with autism spectrum disorders with menstruation through their caregivers by investigating hygiene concerns, dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, and treatments. Frequent and severe symptoms of dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome were common but had moderate morbidity rates. Hormonal contraception and other treatments were underused.Entities:
