Abstract
NMR-based analysis of glycans by directly observing hydroxyl protons has been difficult because of their inherently fast exchange with water. We observed hydroxyl proton exchanges in a LewisX-LewisX interaction by using deuterium isotope shifts on (13)C-NMR.
