Sir,Thank you for giving us an opportunity to reply for the letter “Surgical trauma and associated head injuries: A comment” by Professor Viroj Wiwanitkit.[1] We agree that this is a single instate report that might not be a good representative of overall situation in Nepal. Many studies in the past have discussed the difficulties related to surgical trauma, particularly, traumatic brain injuries and associated difficulties in their management.[2-9] In our study, we tried to emphasize that still we do not have many reports from Nepal and there is a need to further analyze the spectrum and burden of trauma in Nepal. Although we performed many investigations, their role in detail was not investigated in our study due to several constraints. We would like to clarify that this was a prospective descriptive study.
