Abstract
Due to medical improvements surgeons are increasingly confronted with conditions associated with severe medical comorbidities. Fracture or nonunion of the femoral neck would have been classified as "inoperable" in the past. We report the successful operative treatment of a patient with femoral neck nonunion after screw osteosynthesis and associated existence of a left ventricular assist device for dilated cardiomyopathy.Entities:
