Acute abdomen and hypothyroidism.

Abstract

Acute abdomen with multicystic ovaries as a presenting manifestation of juvenile primary hypothyroidism is rare. Appropriate diagnosis and levothyroxine treatment is rewarding and avoids inadvertent surgery. We present three such cases.
