Abstract
Device closure of atrial septum defect was performed using an Amplatzer septal occluder in a 48-year-old patient with Marfan syndrome. Acute tamponade due to perforation was observed 2 months after catheter intervention. Careful consideration of the indication for device closure for atrium septal defect is necessary in patients with Marfan syndrome.Entities:
