Abstract
The Sn atoms in the dinuclear title compound, [Sn(2)Br(2)(C(7)H(7))(4)(OH)(2)], exist in distorted trigonal-bipyramidal BrSnC(2)O(2) coordination geometries. Each of the two independent dinuclear mol-ecules comprising the asymmetric unit is disposed about a center of inversion. In the crystal, molecules are linked by an O-H⋯ hydrogen bond.Entities:
