Abstract
Grisel's syndrome is known as a very rare complication of ENT surgery. It is described as non-traumatic atlantoaxial rotatory subluxation, often seen after tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy in children. Therapy is staged according to the Fielding classification. We report the case of a 9-year-old female patient with Grisel's syndrome after otoplasty. The diagnosis was confirmed by CT scan. Manual reposition was performed under general anaesthesia, followed by temporary immobilization with a Minerva orthesis.Entities:
