Abstract
We describe the clinical and radiological manifestations and outcome after treatment of 7 children who received a diagnosis of early yaws osteoperiostitis. Osteoperiostitis occurred some weeks after the primary infection, and the most common finding was hypertrophic periostitis of long bones. All treated patients had excellent responses to benzyl-penicillin therapy.Entities:
