Abstract
Scepticism over the use of computers in nursing still abounds. In this article, Nicola Eaton describes how the initial interest of one lecturer in a university based school of nursing led eventually to the development of a sophisticated computer network within an expanding department. The resultant benefits to staff and students are described, with the suggestion that familiarity with systems can promote improvements in nurses' attitudes towards computer technology.Mesh:
