Abstract
During the period 1999–2006, non–AIDS-defining cancers accounted for 7.4% of deaths among Italian people with AIDS. The risk of death was 6.6-fold higher than in the general population, being particularly elevated for virus-related cancers. The study findings highlighted the importance of monitoring the cancer burden on mortality for people with AIDS.Entities:
