Abstract

The syntheses of alkaloids including n class="Chemical">indoles, indolines, tetrahydroquinolines, dihydroquinazolinones and quinazolinones have been accomplished in moderate to excellent yields via [Fe(F(20)TPP)Cl] catalyzed intramolecular C-N bond formation using aryl azides as nitrogen source.
