Plasma cell precursors: long-distance travelers looking for a home.

Sanjiv A Luther1.

Abstract

Little is known about the migration of plasma cell precursors to the lymph node medulla. In this issue of Immunity, Fooksman et al. (2010) propose that this migration is largely independent of chemotactic cues but follows a long linear walk of random orientation. Copyright 2010 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
