Application of microfixation techniques in reconstructive maxillofacial surgery.

B L Eppley1, A M Sadove.

Abstract

The use of a new miniaturized bone fixation system (microfixation) in adult maxillofacial surgery is described. Although this fixation system was not specifically developed for the mature facial skeleton, its application to a variety of maxillofacial needs is presented.
