Abstract
The shift towards community care has created the need for data, amongst other things, on the job facets of community nurses. There is a lack of studies on the job satisfaction of these nurses, in particular of community psychiatric nurses (CPNs) in the United Kingdom. This paper reports on part of a general survey of CPNs in Northern Ireland. It deals with the CPN's perception of their level of job satisfaction and the factors which they identified as contributing to their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the job.Entities:
