Abstract
There is evidence that intra- and inter-hemispheric white matter communication, mainly fronto-limbic and callosal connectivity, is impaired in bipolar disorder as reported in several magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion imaging studies. In this review we will discuss diffusion imaging studies that examined white matter integrity in patients with bipolar disorder, trying to outline future research strategies.Entities:
