Abstract

Liver disease is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients receiving long-term dialysis. This article summarizes the most recent information on epidemiology, clinical significance, and management of infection by hepatitis B and C viruses in this population. (c) 2010 Elsevier Inc.
