Abstract
Involvement of the temporomandibular joints in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis usually leads to destruction of the mandibular condyles with consistent growth disturbances and facial anomalies. Due to its frequently silent course, temporomandibular arthritis tends to be a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. In addition to drug therapy, orthodontics and physiotherapy are essential to prevent further progression and restore lost temporomandibular function.Entities:
